A tangram is a Chinese puzzle made up of seven pieces called Tans. Tans are obtained by cutting a square into 5 triangles, a square and a parallelogram.
You can then take the 7 tans and arrange them to create additional pictures.
Print out two copies of the tangram patterns. Laminate both pages. Then cut one of the tangram patterns apart. Store the pieces and the non-cut pattern in a resealable gallon bag.
Have the children match the cut pieces to the outline to create the picture.
