Paper Mache Paste
Common kitchen ingredients made up this paper mache paste recipe. Flour, salt and water. Easy, simple and cheap crafting glue to make for your craft projects.
Materials
1 cup tap water
Pinch of salt
1 cup flour
2 cups lightly boiling water
Directions
1.) Mix flour into one cup tap water until mixture is thin and runny.
2.) Then stir the mixture in 2 cups boiling water. Continue to boil and stir for 3 minutes.
3.) Add a pinch of salt. Cool before using.
If the paste is too runny for your liking, add additional flour. But, remember paper mache paste is supposed to be a little on the runny side.
The paste is best used the day you mix it up. We have placed a plastic bag over the glue container overnight to store it. Although, some of the mix will dry.
