Liquid Sidewalk Chalk Recipe

Making this liquid sidewalk chalk recipe is extremely easy, if you have cornstarch and food coloring in your home. What are you waiting for?  Try it now!

1/4 cup cornstarch
1/4 cup water
Food coloring
Container for each color
Medium mixing bowl
Metal stirring spoon
Measuring cups

1.) Measure out 1/4 cup of cornstarch.

2.) Measure out 1/4 cup of cold water.

3.) Pour the cornstarch and cold water into a medium mixing bowl, and stir until well blended and lumps have disappeared.

4.) Pour the liquid into separate containers that have covers to make your colors.

5.) Mix in a few drops of food coloring to make all the colors you would like. This can be a learning experience for mixing colors, too.

To Use:

1.) I like to pour some of each colored paint into muffin tin sections for the children to paint out of. That way if the paint gets spilled I can refill the tins.

2.) Uses brushes or sponges to paint your driveway or sidewalks.

3.) If all the paint is not used during one painting session, you can cover the paints until your next painting session.
