Hip Hip Hooray…
All year long we’ve waited for this special day.
Now it’s here at last and so we shout hip hip hooray.
We’re all dressed up in fancy clothes and we all think it’s great.
We’re as happy as we can be ’cause we’re going to graduate.

Great Expectations…
It’s time to say good-bye.
Our class has come to an end.
I’ve made more cherished memories
And many more friends.

I’ve watched your children learn and grow
And change from day to day.
I hope that all the things we’ve done
Have helped in some small way.

So it’s with happy memories
I send them out the door,
With great hope and expectations
For what next year holds in store.

Oh We’re Ready…
Tune “Oh My Darling”
Oh, we’re ready,
Oh, we’re ready,
To leave preschool
We’ve learned many things
And had lots of fun.

So, we’re ready
So, we’re ready
Kindergarten, here we come,
We are looking so happy,
Cause school will be fun

Off To Kindergarten…
Tune of “Oscar Meyer Theme Song”
Oh, I’m ready to go off to kindergarten
That is where I really want to beeeeee
Cause when I go off to kindergarten,
Everyone will think I’m really neeeat.

Little Green Frog…
Stand in a row, with their fingers up next to their eyes (on the sides of their heads) and when singing glunk glunk…they “blink” their fingers as if they were blinking their eyes.  THEN, on the next verse…when they sing the LA DE DA DE  part, they put their hands on their hips and wiggled from side to side – you know, kind of with an attitude….I know their parents will just go nuts!!

Tune of “Boom Boom Aint It Great to be Crazy” for this part of song.

GLUNK GLUNK WENT THE LITTLE GREEN FROG ONE DAY
GLUNK GLUNK WENT THE LITTLE GREEN FROG….
GLUNK GLUNK WENT THE LITTLE GREEN FROG ONE DAY
AND HER EYES WENT GLUNK….GLUNK…GLUNK…..

Then changes tune to: “The Old Grey Mare Just Aint What She Used to Be”

B U T…T H E N…… (We sing this line slowly)

ONE DAY SHE WENT …
LA DE DA DE DA…
LA DE DA DE DA…
LA DE DA DE DA…

BUT ONE DAY SHE WENT…
LA DE DA DE DA….
SHE DIDN’T GO  GLUNK …GLUNK….GLUNK ! !

You’re a Very Special Person…
“You’re a very special person,
And I wanted you to know,
How much I enjoyed being your teacher.
How fast the year did go!

Please come back to visit me
As through the grades you grow
Try hard to learn all that you can
There is so much to know!

The one thing I tried to teach you
To last your whole life through
Is to know that you are SPECIAL
There’s no one else like you!”

Summer’s Here…
Summer’s here!
Another year
of school is at an end.
We’ve learned a lot
and grown a lot
and made a lot
of friends.
We’ll say goodbye,
now summer’s here,
it’s time for us to part.
But we’ll remember all our friends
and keep them in our hearts.
