I recommend mixing up a batch and using it on the same day as it is make.  You can make the clay up the night before and store it covered, in the refrigerator.  However, it might get a little sticky and you will need to add powder sugar before using it the following morning.

Sometimes it is nice to see a video because it could show a few tips and tricks you would not receive unless you actually see the item being made.

Edible Play Clay:

Ingredients:
1 Pound Powdered Sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3 C Corn Sugar
1/3 C Margarine (softened)
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
5-7 Drops Food Coloring

Mix all ingredients together.  Add more powdered sugar if sticky.

100% edible but extremely sweet!
