Edible Individual Jell-O Aquariums

Looking to serve up some snack time fun? How about creating individual Jell-O aquariums? A new feature of NuttinbutPreschool.com will be scrumptious Saturday snacks. Two Saturdays a year, I will feature a new snack for you to make and enjoy with your children.

Today’s featured snack is Jell-O aquariums!


Picture above located at Confessions of a Cookbook Queen She has a cute way of doing another twist on an aquarium. 

1 package Blue Raspberry Jell-O
1 package White Grape Jell-O
2 cups boiling water
2 cups cold water
10 Swedish fish or gummy sharks
Small Solo Cocktail Cups
1 toothpick

1.) Empty both packages of gelatin into a glass bowl.
2.) Add 2 cups of boiling water to gelatin and stir until dissolved.
3.) Stir 2 cups of cold water into gelatin.
4.) Pour liquid gelatin into cups in equal portions.
5.) Refrigerate about an hour.
6.) When the Jell-O starts to set, gently pierce the Swedish fish and place in cup and shimmy out the toothpick.
7.) Refrigerate another hour or until set.
